Phil and his family have been involved in FNVW's People Camp program for over 30 years. He was also involved in FNVW's Peace First and Peace in the Precincts programs, has helped out with the Holiday Fair fundraiser, and was on the FNVW Board between 2004 and 2006. Currently, he is on the Steering Committee of Quaker Direct Action, and is also a member of Stop Militarization Against Minnesotans, a Quaker Action Team. He is a retired attorney and teacher, and is the father of two adult children. Most of all, he loves working with young children -- he volunteers at the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery and the Southside Family Nurturing Center. He is also active in the Twin Cities Friends Meeting.
