Use Your Passion to Support Our Programs 

Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) Facilitator

Help to reduce violence in our communities and prisons by developing your conflict resolution skills and the skills of others. You will have the opportunity to use and develop skills in facilitation, working as a member of a team, and creating an environment of trust and acceptance.


Advocacy and Outreach Team

Are you passionate about organizing for social change through conversations with neighbors, advocacy, and education? Help FNVW build power for social change through relational organizing and by working in coalition with other groups. This team also hosts community dialogues and workshops on pressing topics such as police reform and public safety. Join us!


Everyday Nonviolence Podcast Producer

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have your own talk show? Here is your chance! In this position, you would be able to host a podcast while enhancing skills in researching pressing topics, conducting interviews, journalism and podcast production. 

  Podcast Editor 

Employ your editing skills to create clear and concise episodes of FNVW’s Everyday Nonviolence Podcast! You will work as a member of the Everyday Nonviolence podcast production team to tell the story of incredible people using nonviolence to change themselves and the world around them.

Office Assistant Extraordinaire

Help us keep our office looking spruced up and organized to enhance the experience of our participants and volunteer groups. This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves to keep things organized and who is looking for a weekly commitment.

Website Organizer

Utilize your skills in website design and organizing to help us revamp and continually update our website to showcase our wonderful programs, events and volunteer opportunities. 


Communications and Marketing Expert

Help us to tell the story of the impact we have on the communities we serve. You will have the opportunity to use and develop skills in writing, verbal communication, brand standards, website design, and mission based communication strategies.


Fundraising Volunteer

Looking for an opportunity to plan events, talk with potential donors, or coming up with innovative ideas for raising money? Look no further! As a Fundraising Volunteer for FNVW, you will get be able to enhance your skills in fundraising, while working with our wonderful fundraising committee to help us grow our donation base, including some opportunity to help with grant writing.
